To celebrate that St. George, the premium restaurant at Hullett House in Hong Kong, was selected as one of Asia’s top restaurants in the 《2012 Michelin Guide Hong Kong & Macau》 and awarded a Michelin star, starting from January 30, 2012, Hullett House has launched a new “Treasures of Hong Kong Cuisine” promotion package. Priced from HK$11,800 (service charge of 10% not included), the package includes a two-night stay, complimentary upgrade to a corner suite, and a food voucher worth HK$4,000, which can be used at any of the five premium dining outlets at Hullett House (including the Michelin-starred St. George) or any of the nine restaurants under the Aqua Dining Group (including aqua, Hutong, and Armani/Aqua). The promotion runs until May 25, 2012.

Hullett House is situated within the former Marine Police Headquarters in Hong Kong and is part of The Leading Hotels of the World luxury hotel group. Its history dates back to 1881. Perched on a hilltop, it overlooks Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong’s famous Star Ferry pier. The overall development is design-led, featuring a heritage hotel, five restaurants, and bars, all of which are heavily influenced by the colonial Hong Kong and British Regency styles — an era when King George IV pioneered the integration of Chinoiserie design into British architecture.

The group’s founder and managing director, David Yeo, strives to infuse each suite with a unique design concept while showcasing Hong Kong’s dual Chinese and British historical elements — from its cultural roots as a British colony during the Victorian era to its transformation into a modern fashion capital of China, all depicted in meticulous detail.

This all-suite five-star boutique hotel has not only been featured on the prestigious “Hot List 2011” by the authoritative travel magazine 《Condé Nast Traveler》, but also made it onto the 2011 “It List” by 《Travel + Leisure》, where it was selected by 50 editors as one of the world’s most beloved new hotels.
