The "Taiwan Top 10 Small Tourist Towns" voting campaign currently organized by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications has seen Shueijingu in Ruifang District, New Taipei City (including Shuhsing Cave, Jinguashi, and Jiufen) temporarily take the lead with over 47,000 votes. To encourage more people to vote, the New Taipei City Tourism Bureau announced today (Feb. 2) that anyone who joins the “New Taipei Traveler” fan page and forms a group of 20 friends to vote will have a chance to win a double-person experience package worth NT$700 in Shueijingu, along with a unique Shueijingu mascot, both provided by the New Taipei City Government.

Starting now, members of the public can visit the “New Taipei Traveler” fan page, click “Like” to join (those already following can directly take part in the group activity), then click the “Vote for Shueijingu” app link and select 20 friends to join the group. The “Vote for Shueijingu” group image will be simultaneously posted on the timelines of all 21 participants, giving the initiator one chance to enter the lucky draw. The more groups you form, the more chances to win — but no duplicate friends allowed.

The "Taiwan Top 10 Small Tourist Towns" campaign offers three ways for the public to vote: “online voting,” “postcard voting,” and “mobile app voting.” In addition to online and mobile methods, people can also get postcards at various tourism service centers in New Taipei City, Shuhsing Cave Exhibition Art Gallery, Gold Ecological Park, Ruifang District Office, and Jiufen Commercial Circle. Each visitor service center also provides free mailing service (service hours: weekdays 08:00–17:30, holidays 08:00–19:30). The voting period ends on March 9, while postcard submissions must arrive no later than March 7, 2012, with postmark not accepted — arrival time is the final criterion.
