Don’t miss this chance—gather your family and friends and head to Daxueshan to experience the early summer splendor of the mountains.

Native to Europe, foxgloves come in purplish-red and white varieties. Their uniquely beautiful, bell-like blossomscan be spotted abundantly along forest trails and within the recreation area. In addition,the Yushan azaleas on Daxueshan Mountain and the red-haired azaleas clinging to the cliffs are stunning sightsvisitors shouldn’t miss.Li Yanshou, Director of the Dongshi Forest District Office, reminds visitors that all parts of the foxglove plant—roots, stems, leaves, and flowers—are toxic, so do not pick them to avoid poisoning and discomfort.
