The free guided tours "Anping Old Street Tour" and "Historic Walk Through Tainan" launched by Tainan City Tourism Bureau have been popular among visitors. To promote Anping’s nomination in the "Taiwan Top 10 Small Tourist Towns" selection and with the upcoming four-day 228 holiday, the "Anping Old Street Tour" has increased the number of daily guided sessions. In addition to the originally scheduled sessions every Saturday and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, three additional guided tour sessions will be offered from 2/25 (Sat) to 2/28 (Tue), 3/3 (Sat) to 3/4 (Sun), and 3/10 (Sat) to 3/11 (Sun). The new time slots are 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. As of noon today, the two afternoon sessions on 2/26 are fully booked, as is the 9:30 AM session on 2/27, but other sessions are still open for registration.

The itinerary for the "Anping Old Street Tour" begins at Anping Tree House (Michelin 2-star) → Deji Trading Company (Michelin 1-star) → Zhu Jiuying Memorial Hall → Former Site of U.S. A; Trading Company → Taiwan Salt Dormitory → Former Site of British Hewitt Trading Company → Dongxing Trading Company → Qianlong Seawall → Xilong Temple → Wang Jishih Foreign-Style House → Residential Houses of the Old Anping Settlement → Tomb of the Twelve Armies → Lu Jingtang Residence → Anping Tianhou Temple → Anping Fort (Michelin 1-star) → Fort Zeelandia Museum → Former Residence of Elder Lin Yongmin of Anping District → Tainan Local Culture Museum → Anping Guanyin Pavilion → Yanping Old Street → In front of Haitou Guangji Temple → Haishan Guildhall → Victoria-Style Masonry Wall → Dressing Table Ruins → Haotou She Wei Residence → Ancient Wall Sword Lion, and ends at Sanxin Cooperative.

The "Historic Walk Through Tainan" will maintain its current schedule this weekend with two guided sessions: 4:00 PM on Fridays and 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. All slots are currently available, but starting in March, the schedule will change to a single 3:00 PM session each Saturday and Sunday. Both the "Anping Old Street Tour" and "Historic Walk Through Tainan" offer three-hour guided tours. While on-site registration is available, it is recommended to book in advance with Tainan City Tourism Bureau to secure a spot, as sessions may fill up. Registration hotline: 06-299-1111 ext. 8819.
