EVA Air announced that starting May 23 this year, the Taipei Songshan–Tokyo Haneda routes BR192/191 and BR190/189 (BR189 from May 24), as well as the Taipei Songshan–Shanghai Hongqiao BR772/771, will also be operated by Hello Kitty livery aircraft. In the future, travelers not departing from Taoyuan International Airport will be able to see the adorable Kitty planes in Taipei every day.

Since introducing three Hello Kitty livery aircraft last year, EVA Air has received an enthusiastic response from passengers and drawn attention from media both at home and abroad. In addition to adding new routes, the airline also plans to unveil two Hello Kitty planes with different themes on May 23 and June 22 — stay tuned.
At the same time, passengers are reminded that between May 23 and June 21, during the new Kitty plane livery period, the Taipei/Tokyo Narita (BR2198/2197) and Taipei/Hong Kong (BR857/858) routes will be operated by regular aircraft, and Hello Kitty planes will not be available. As a result, the “Hello Kitty Self-Service Check-in Zone” and the “Hello Kitty Livery Plane Golden Collection” activities at Taoyuan Airport will not apply to these two destinations during this period.
