HAV A HANK (ハバハンク) was founded in 1947 in South Carolina, USA, and is a classic American print manufacturer. Its most famous bandana print scarves have long been essential items among stylish individuals. To this day, it remains a precious handkerchief factory that insists on MADE IN U.S.A. With a long history, it has created high quality and a rich selection of classic styles. The new collaboration combines HAV A HANK's BANDANNAS with MSPC’s classic MASTERTEX CANVAS. The outer fabric uses HAV A HANK’s classic patterns bonded to MSPC’s exclusively developed MASTER-TEX material. This tote bag will be available exclusively at MSPC’s Taipei flagship store starting April 14th (Saturday).

The main material of the tote bag uses premium No. 20 combed cotton fibers with short fibers removed, woven with equal-length 7-skein warp and 9-skein weft, giving the fabric a glossy finish and increased strength. It is finer than the previous No. 9 canvas and denser than the commonly seen No. 6 canvas today. Woven using the now-rare traditional power loom, it is MSPC’s exclusively developed MASTER-TEX fabric, featuring MSPC’s signature black x yellow x black fabric edges. The accompanying leather undergoes an environmentally friendly dyeing process certified by the International Textile Association, which is non-toxic and harmless to both the environment and the human body, and contains no residual hexavalent chromium that could harm humans or the environment. The 1.8mm thick leather is eco-friendly cowhide, while the base uses 3mm plant-tanned thickened fat cowhide to enhance durability. The leather surface is manually polished with a metal roller to produce a natural sheen and smoother texture. All accompanying leather is natural cowhide, which will gradually develop a beeswax hue over time, creating a unique VINTAGE feel.
