Star Cruises’ Star Pisces will set sail from Keelung to Matsu on May 9 and June 20 this year, marking a newly packaged creative itinerary following the 2010 Penghu voyage. The three-day-two-night Matsu holiday allows passengers to board starting at 7 p.m. each evening to enjoy meals and onboard leisure facilities. During the cruise, the ship offers entertainment such as French fantasy magic shows, belly dancing, Russian luxury performance shows, or music trios. For land excursions, in Nangan, visitors can tour the world’s tallest “Matsu Statue,” explore the “Beihai Tunnel,” visit the “Matsu Distillery,” and savor authentic “Matsu-style cuisine.” In Beigan, activities include hiking the island’s highest peak, “Bishan,” visiting the “Wusha Beihai Tunnel,” and exploring the representative cluster of Minnan-style architecture in “Qinbi Village.” The Nangan and Beigan tours are priced at NT$1,700 per person (NT$1,600 for children aged 2–12), and independent travelers can arrange their own post-cruise itineraries.

The Matsu voyages departing on May 9 and June 20 are creatively packaged itineraries introduced by Star Cruises this year, following the 2010 Penghu route. The three-day-two-night Matsu trip lets guests board as early as 7 p.m. each evening to begin enjoying onboard dining and leisure amenities. Throughout these days, the ship features performances such as French fantasy magic, belly dancing, Russian luxury shows, or music trios. On land, the Nangan portion includes visiting the world’s tallest “Matsu Statue,” exploring the “Beihai Tunnel,” touring the “Matsu Distillery,” and sampling authentic “Matsu cuisine.” In Beigan, travelers can hike “Bishan,” the highest peak on the island, explore the “Wusha Beihai Tunnel,” and visit the “Qinbi Village,” a representative settlement of traditional Eastern Min architecture. The Nangan and Beigan tours are each NT$1,700 per person (NT$1,600 for children aged 2–12). After disembarking, independent travelers can plan their own exploration.
