Soaring with Captain Yoo on your shoulder – Jeju Air’s “Song Joong-ki livery plane” makes an appearance

Jeju Air, the Korean airline that recently signed Song Joong-ki as its new annual brand ambassador, has unveiled photos of the “Song Joong-ki livery plane” on its Facebook fan page. On the plane, Song Joong-ki appears in various looks including a suit, a shirt, and a striped T-shirt. Aside from flashing his signature smile, he also forms a heart with his hands, exuding immense charm.

Although it's a low-cost carrier, Jeju Air has consistently leveraged popular male celebrities for promotional campaigns in recent years. Artists such as Lee Min-ho and "Professor Do" Kim Soo-hyun have all served as brand ambassadors for the airline. When “Descendants of the Sun” swept across Asia, Jeju Air promptly announced Song Joong-ki as its new ambassador for the year.

On the livery plane, besides Song Joong-ki’s adorable visage, the aircraft body also features the word “Hello” in three languages: English, Korean, and Japanese. The airplane windows are positioned right around the shoulders and neck area of five Song Joong-ki images, so choosing the right seat allows you to “lean on Song Joong-ki’s shoulder,” which is sure to make many “Song-wives” blush and excited.

Currently, Jeju Air offers two routes from Taiwan: Taipei–Seoul (Incheon) and Taipei–Busan. Jeju Air stated that flying on the livery plane depends on fleet scheduling, with an estimated 1–2 arrivals in Taiwan per month, giving the public a chance to experience it.
