The Taichung City Government has teamed up with 35 local businesses to jointly launch Labor Day promotions, including discounts on amusement parks, cinemas, accommodations, hot springs, dining, and baked goods. Among them, the full water-and-land ticket at Lihpao Amusement Park, originally priced at NT$699, is now available for NT$501. Fuwang Hotel offers 50% off on accommodations, Swedish National Treasure Bakery’s Boston pie is half price, and Bandai Namco Cinema lets you watch two second-run movies for just NT$80. Visitors planning to travel to Taichung shouldn’t miss out on these great deals.

Take advantage of the rare chance for a couple’s trip while your kids are still in school on May 1st, Labor Day. In the Taichung area, a total of 2 amusement parks, 2 cinemas, 8 accommodations, 5 hot springs, 5 dining spots, and 13 bakeries are offering special promotions tomorrow. For theme park lovers, tickets to Houli Horse Ranch are available at a special price of NT$50, while Lihpao Amusement Park offers access to both water and land parks for just NT$501. In the Guguan area, five businesses — Shenmu Valley Holiday Hotel, Uni Resort, Hueilai Guguan, Izumo Japanese Open-Air Hot Spring Resort, and Water Dance Guguan Resort Hot Spring — are also attracting visitors with 50% off outdoor hot springs.
For dining, Thai Hot Fashion Thai Cuisine, Sukiya, Akakichi Steak, Niu Bi Foreign Firm, and Rice Café are offering free drinks or food gifts with purchases. Thirteen bakeries and pastry shops are also providing 5–90% discounts on selected items.
