Taiwan’s Good Bus Cihu Line’s new route officially began operating this Monday, passing by attractions such as the Hakka Cultural Museum, Daxi Old Street, and Cihu. In line with Mother’s Day celebrations, the route features the theme “Bring Mom to Taoyuan,” launching a “Four-Person Ride, One Free” promotion for the Taiwan Good Bus Cihu Line, along with a 50% discount on visiting Rear Cihu.

In the past, the Tamsui River was a thriving waterway, leading to the development of Daxi along the Dahan River. The baroque-style buildings on the old street are a famous attraction in Daxi. In 2012, the newly planned Taiwan’s Good Bus Cihu Line starts from Zhongli’s Taoyuan Bus Zhongli Terminal, passing through Shanziding, Taoyuan Bus Longtan Terminal, Longtan Pond, Taoyuan County Hakka Cultural Museum, Shengyu Street on Wenhua Road, Shimen Big Lawn, Sankeng Old Street, Pinglin, Daxi Old Street, Daxi Mausoleum, and Cihu, then returns via the original route. Operating hours are weekdays from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with one bus per hour, and weekends from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with one bus every 30 minutes. A one-day pass is available at NT$100 for adults and NT$50 for children.

Additionally, from now until May 31, 2012, the “Bring Mom to Taoyuan” campaign is underway. Passengers riding Taiwan’s Good Bus Cihu Line can enjoy the “Four-Person Ride, One Free” promotion, as well as waiving the online reservation requirement and receiving a 50% discount on entry fees for Rear Cihu.
