The 2012 Yeosu World Expo (EXPO 2012 Yeosu Korea) will begin on May 12. Over the course of its 93-day duration, visitors can explore 14 performance stages and exhibition areas, seven domestic corporate pavilions, and four outdoor themed zones. Starting tomorrow (Saturday), the “Floating Stage K-pop Concert” featuring performances by Korean artists such as Wonder Girls, 2AM, and CN Blue will take place. Visitors can enjoy an authentic K-pop concert experience without needing to purchase additional tickets.

The “Floating Stage K-pop Concert” will debut tomorrow, with a total of seven shows scheduled for 05/12 (Sat), 06/15 (Fri), 06/19 (Tue), 06/30 (Sat), 07/05 (Thu), 07/14 (Sat), and 08/11 (Sat). Performing groups include Wonder Girls, Busker Busker, Dal★shabet, 2AM, Jung Young & Leessang, CN BLUE, and ZE:A. Performances will take place from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM on event days. Visitors to the Yeosu Expo can enjoy the concerts at the stage without extra tickets.

The Yeosu Expo runs from May 12 to August 12, with participation from 105 countries and 10 international organizations. It is expected to draw over 8 million global visitors. In addition to the Expo’s theme pavilion, the international pavilion showcasing the latest technologies and cultures of 105 countries, and the deep-sea fishing experience zone—where visitors can board offshore fishing boats to observe tuna fishing operations, experience sub-zero frozen fish storage, and learn about traditional and high-tech fishing methods—the Big-O floating stage will also host various performances.

Additionally, starting May 12, the “Head to Yeosu” lucky draw is being launched. Those who sign up for Yeosu travel packages offered by travel agencies on the event website can participate in the draw, with three chances to win on 6/12, 7/12, and 8/30. Moreover, visitors to the Yeosu Expo site can take photos, upload them to the event webpage, and share their most appealing Expo experiences to enter the “Yeosu Sharing Gift” lucky draw.
