The Taipei International Tourism Expo is about to kick off, and the Taipei City Government has specially planned the Taipei Pavilion under the theme “Taipei Midsummer YA!” with various perks to help everyone “fight inflation.” To welcome the public to join the opening of the Taipei Pavilion on May 25, a state banquet table menu worth NT$6,000 from Jiancheng Roundabout will be given away as a raffle prize at the event.

On the day of the “Taipei Pavilion” opening, attendees who participate in the on-site activities will have the chance to win a free table of roundabout state banquet dishes. The state banquet dishes from Jiancheng Roundabout were personally designed by the national treasure-level state banquet chef Huang Dezhong (Master Ah Zhong), featuring a rich selection of 12 dishes including king crab Spanish paella, braised fish fillet soup, top chef’s soy sauce chicken, Taiwan giant clam thousand-hand Guanyin, and Shaoxing wine drunken shrimp. Chef Ah Zhong has previously catered various state banquets and receptions for figures such as Soong Mei-ling, Lee Teng-hui, Lien Chan, Chen Shui-bian, and Annette Lu.

This year, the Taipei Pavilion is offering even more limited-edition gifts and lucky draw packages. In addition to the newly launched limited-edition Taipei Summer T-shirts available for sale on-site, the Taipei Pavilion opening also introduces exclusive Taipei-flavored shaved ice to match the summer theme. Everyone is welcome to visit the Taipei Pavilion on May 25 to enjoy shaved ice, grab great gifts, and enter for big prizes.
