The annualYilan International Children's Folklore and Folkgame Festivalopened ticket sales on the 19th. This year’s festival is themed “Childlike Innocence,” aiming not only to let children show their energy but also to help adults recapture their youthful spirit, so all can enjoy the coolness of water during the hot summer vacation.

This year marks the 21st edition of the festival. The park features four main categories: exhibitions, games, exchanges, and performances. The water play area introduces the “Summer Splash Zone,” where visitors can experience an interactive water playground. The performance section invites 19 groups from six countries to perform in Taiwan. In addition to enjoying water activities to beat the heat, visitors can also watch international shows and experience diverse cultural charms. Moreover, there will be a cultural and creative market in the park, showcasing the explosion of artistic energy among Taiwanese people, adding even more elements to this year’s Yilan International Children's Folklore and Folkgame Festival.

But unfortunately, this year’s event runs for a full week less than last year, and the closing time is also one hour earlier. Visitors should be careful not to miss out.
