Want to sample classic Taipei snacks like Ah Chung Noodles, Husi Zhang Braised Pork Rice, and Fuzhou Shizu Pepper Buns all in one go? No need to scour various malls and night markets. The annual “Taipei Snack Banquet” makes foodies’ culinary dreams come true. The Taipei City Government has gathered Taipei’s classic delicacies and, during the Taipei Food Exhibition from July 12–15, is offering two rounds of “Classic Themed Banquets.” The first round features the “Taipei Snack Banquet” at the Expo Park Flower Competition Dome on July 13 — 12 classic snacks plus a voucher for Snowflake Mango Ice, with an original value of over NT$550, available at a discounted price of NT$300 for a limited 500 people. Book before June 29 to also enjoy an early-bird deal of buy 4 get 1 free, equivalent to a 4.8 discount.

The Taipei City Government recently surveyed and evaluated the most popular delicious snacks in Taipei and, combining them with the recommended list from CNN Travel’s website “CNNGO,” launched the classic snack menu for the “Taipei Snack Banquet.” The banquet includes dishes such as Pig Intestine Vermicelli, Beef Noodles, Stinky Tofu, and Pig Intestine Wrapped Around Sausage, along with a voucher for Snowflake Mango Ice, ensuring participants enjoy a feast for the palate. In addition to variety and flavor, this event has also gathered famous snack stalls and shops, including the popular Ah Chung Noodles in Ximending, the sought-after Fuzhou Shizu Pepper Buns from Raohe Night Market, and the long-established Husi Zhang, known for selling braised pork rice even on airplanes, which started out in Ningxia Night Market.
In addition, the Taipei City Department of Commerce has also organized the “Share Delicious Moments” Facebook photo collection campaign. As long as you dine at participating “Taipei Snack Banquet” restaurants before July 15 and upload a photo with your meal to the “Charming Taipei 'Featured Business Districts'” Facebook page, indicating the restaurant/stall and dish, the person who receives the most “likes” will win a NT$30,000 All-You-Can-Eat Hundred-Delicacy Pass.
