The world’s largest marine park showcases 20,000 marine creatures    Chimelong: Whale sharks are No. 1

Located in Zhuhai, Chimelong Ocean Kingdom is hailed as the world’s largest marine-themed amusement park, exhibiting over 20,000 aquatic creatures. During the Taipei International Travel Fair from May 20 to 23 this year, Chimelong Ocean Kingdom will make its first appearance in Taiwan, featuring activities such as the Marine Classroom and a whale shark plush feeding show.

Chimelong International Ocean Resort features eight major themed areas, 10 rare animal exhibition halls, nine amusement rides, three large theaters, and three themed hotels. Chimelong states that the most popular attraction in the resort is the Whale Shark Aquarium; visitors can even book a two-day, one-night overnight stay at the aquarium. The pavilion also houses marine life such as polar bears, penguins, and beluga whales, allowing guests to interact closely with these creatures through activities like feeding.

Tickets to the Chimelong park are priced at RMB 350 (approximately NT$    ), and during the travel fair, there is a 3-day, 2-night vacation package for NT$5,388, jointly sold by travel agencies such as Eastern Media, Koala, and Southeast. Chimelong believes it hopes to help more Taiwanese consumers get to know Chimelong through the travel fair activities.
