After generating huge buzz in Seoul and Taipei, the third stop of 《KAWS:HOLIDAY》 has landed in Hong Kong's Victoria Harbour. Featuring a 37-meter-long reclining artwork — the largest of its kind by KAWS to date — it makes its debut in a brand-new gray tone and horizontal pose.
The third stop of 《KAWS:HOLIDAY》 arrived at Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbour in late March.
The Hong Kong edition of 《KAWS:HOLIDAY》 was on display along Victoria Harbour from March 22 to 31, 2019. To get an up-close look at this massive artwork, head to the Central and Western District Promenade (Central Section).

In July 2018, KAWS unveiled a 28-meter-long giant inflatable sculpture titled "KAWS:HOLIDAY" at Seoul’s Seokchon Lake in South Korea — at the time his largest artwork and his first water-based installation. In January 2019, a towering 36-meter creation, KAWS - HOLIDAY COMPANION, made a surprise landing at Taipei’s Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, sparking another photography craze.
The July 2018 exhibition at Seoul’s Seokchon Lake and the January 2019 exhibition at Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall.
In anticipation of the arrival of KAWS’ largest outdoor artwork, artist KAWS himself will attend the opening event of the Hong Kong stop of 《KAWS:HOLIDAY》 on March 22, 2019, marking the start of a 10-day exhibition along Victoria Harbour. The display will be canceled in case of severe weather.
