The Taipei International Travel Fair, held at Hall 1 of the Taipei World Trade Center from May 20 to 23, featured not only travel packages from multiple travel agencies but also airlines such as China Airlines, EVA Air, and Japan Airlines, all offering special airfare deals on popular routes from Japan and Korea to long-haul flights to Europe and the US.

China AirlinesThis year at the expo, the airline showcased its A350 model, giving the public a glimpse of its latest aircraft addition. There were also discounts of 500 NTD off short-haul and regional routes, and 1,500 NTD off long-haul routes. Fares started from 5,488 NTD round-trip for Northeast Asia, 6,888 NTD for Southeast Asia, 22,888 NTD for the Americas, and 27,388 NTD for round-trip Europe.Mandarin Airlinesoffered promotional packages targeting eastern Taiwan and outlying islands, including 2-day mini trips to Taitung and 3-day tours to Orchid Island and Green Island.

EVA Airprovided a 5% discount promotion on over 60 routes. The airline stated that this year there are many promotions to Europe, making it a great time for travelers to snag a deal. Among them, round-trip fares to London start at 20,888 NTD, to Paris at 22,888 NTD, and the new Chicago route, set to launch on November 2, is also available at 29,888 NTD during the travel fair.

Japan Airlinesoffered promotional fares starting from 6,999 NTD for round-trip flights between Taipei and Tokyo/Osaka during the travel fair. Japan Airlines noted that tickets include checked baggage allowances for two pieces totaling 46 kg (23 kg each), with no fuel surcharges. Passengers can also adjust their flight times by paying an additional fee based on their travel plans. For those arranging independent travel, Japan Airlines also offers 5-day, 1-night Tokyo/Osaka packages starting from 8,399 NTD.
