Jiaoxi, Taiwan’s renowned hot spring town and one of the top ten small tourist cities, is set to host a series of Travel Carnival events on August 31. The three-day event will feature a NT$1 auction, lucky draws with receipts, a starry sky fireworks show, Rock Beer Night, Youthful Fantasy Dance Night, and Loving Hot Spring Night, among other themed activities.Performances will be given by musical groups and artists such as the Heaven Duke Band and Barbie Hsu.Local accommodation providers are also offering discounts of up to 55% off. Additionally, from now until August 25, those who visit the event’s official website or Facebook fan page, share the link, and recommend the “2012 Jiaoxi Small Tourist City Travel Carnival,” will be entered into a draw for 20 netizens to join event ambassador Barbie Hsu on a green journey through Jiaoxi.

The Jiaoxi Travel Carnival, running from August 31 to September 2 over three consecutive days, will not only feature performances by musical acts such as the SCOTT & ABBIE Country Band, the Horseshoe Yang Rock Duo, the Five Grains Harvest Cultural Arts Troupe, the Kao Chiu Chin Band, Barbie Hsu, Huang Siting, Chen Mingzhang, Weng Liyou, and Wang Hong’en, but alsoincludesa Massive Beer King Competition, a NT$1 Auction Frenzy, donation of receipts and check-in draws for major prizes, along with a starry sky fireworks show at 21:00 on the evening of September 1.
In addition, 74 local businesses in Jiaoxi, including accommodations, restaurants, souvenirs, and beauty services, are offering various promotions such as gifts with qualifying purchases or discounts ranging from 8% to 95%.
