In 2007, Singapore Airlines became the world’s first airline to operate the A380. To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the A380, the airline has launched an online sweepstakes for a delivery flight. By visiting the Singapore Airlines website and registering for an event passport before August 28, you could win the chance to fly with Singapore Airlines to Airbus’s headquarters in Toulouse, France, in early September. The prize includes two nights’ accommodation in Toulouse, as well as a delivery flight on the airline’s 19th A380 bound for Singapore.

The lucky winner of this sweepstakes can bring one guest and will depart from any Singapore Airlines destination to Airbus’s headquarters in Toulouse. The winner and their companion will enjoy two nights’ accommodation in Toulouse, a half-day city tour, and a special dinner prepared by Singapore Airlines and Airbus. They will also have the opportunity to tour the Airbus production center before boarding the A380 – the aviation giant – on the delivery flight to Singapore. Typically, only select crew members, technicians, and a few personnel involved in the handover process are allowed on these delivery flights. This time, the sweepstakes winners will get a behind-the-scenes look at aircraft production and delivery.
