In the early autumn season, would you like to enjoy a romantic night of blues and jazz by the starlit lake? From August 31 to September 16, for three consecutive weeks on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings from 18:30 to 20:30, the “Rippling Resplendent Lake—Starry Sky Concert” will be held at the East Bank Plaza of Resplendent Lake, totaling 9 performances.ofThis music event will feature a variety of themes including blues, classical, and jazz, with notable movie soundtracks among the lineup. The East Bank Plaza of Resplendent Lake will serve as a stage for both mid-career and emerging bands and musicians specializing in jazz and light music. The first week will also include activities such as couples’ kissing demonstrations and love confessions, along with prize quizzes, allowing the public to enjoy a romantic weekend evening.

This music event spans three weeks and is divided into three themed chapters: the first week is “Elegant Blues,” the second week is “Jazzy Rhapsody,” and the third week is “Rock the Classics.” Performing groups include the Renaissance Orchestra, Xiangxiang Woodwind Quintet, Brazil Kiss Band, Semifusa Chamber Orchestra, Dash Brass Quintet, and the student band from Xindian High School, among 15 ensembles in total. The repertoire includes well-known movie soundtracks, theme songs, and original compositions by the bands, showcasing their vitality and creativity through classical, blues, and jazz pieces that range from lively to laid-back.
Additionally, during the first week of the Starry Sky Concert, 15 bold and loving couples will be invited to showcase their affection through matching outfits, couple rings, watches, and other apparel, followed by a 10-second kiss. Each participating couple will receive a chocolate gift. Prize quizzes will also be held during intermissions, with prizes including couple’s afternoon tea vouchers and premium beverages.
