The sun-drenched port city of Kaohsiung, which is suitable for travel and outdoor activities all year round, is set to host the “Warm Winter in Kaohsiung – Fantastic Five Routes” event. Starting from November 17, warm winter sightseeing bus one-day tours will be available every Saturday and Sunday, including five routes: the Purple Butterfly Eco-Tribe Tour, the Mountain Town Flower & Hot Spring Journey, the Gourmet Tung-Pu Inn Culinary Experience in Neimen, the Fengshan Vintage Lifestyle Tour, and the Coastal Route 17 Seafood Delights. Each tour comes with a dedicated guide for commentary, and the price of NT$399 per person includes lunch and local souvenirs.

The five routes launched by the Kaohsiung City Government’s Tourism Bureau each have their own unique features. Visitors can choose to explore the precious purple butterflies and Dorna Tribe in Maolin; enjoy hot spring indulgence in Liouguei, savor a chef’s feast in Neimen, stroll through the historic sites and local specialties of Fengshan, or taste the fresh seafood along Coastal Highway 17. For just NT$399, each one-day tour includes lunch, souvenirs or DIY experiences, as well as travel insurance. Additionally, each of the five routes partners with local shops to offer discounts or gifts with purchase, helping visitors save even more while exploring the port city.
