Traveling by rail and enjoying the winter atmosphere in Europe has long been a dream trip for many tourists. This time, the train pass promotion offers the France Rail Pass, allowing travelers to choose any 5–9 days within a month, with an 80% discount if purchased before the end of November. Passengers only need to activate the pass and get it stamped within six months after purchase; if you plan to...toGermany for business or travel, the German National Tourist Board, in collaboration with the Germany Rail Pass and 13 German cities, is offering an 80% discount on the Germany Rail Pass for choosing any 5 days within a month, along with special deals in 13 cities for international travelers. Eurostar, which runs high-speed trains between London–Paris and London–Brussels, is offering one-way economy class tickets for just 40 euros, a discount of up to 40%, valid from now until June 1, 2013.
The TGV France–Italy high-speed trains, operating between Paris–Milan and Paris–Turin, are also offering a 40% discount, with one-way economy class tickets at 45 euros and one-way first-class tickets at 55 euros. As long as you book before the end of November this year, the tickets are valid for the entire year of 2024. The Thalys Northwest trains, running high-speed routes between Paris–Belgium–Netherlands–Germany, are also available at a 40% discount, with discounted prices starting from around 25 euros. Passengers planning to travel before March 22, 2024, need to purchase their tickets by the end of December.

In addition, the French national railway company (SNCF) will withdraw from the European alliance of railway companies—the Eurail Select Pass—starting January 1, 2013. However, travelers can still choose France in the Eurail Global Pass (covering 24 European countries) or the Eurail Regional Pass that includes France. The Eurail Global Pass covering 24 countries will be subject to a price increase next January, so travelers planning to visit Europe before the end of March 2024 can take advantage of the 80% pre-purchase discount available before the end of the year. As for the Eurail Select Pass, which comes in options for 3–5 countries, since France will no longer be an option starting January 1, 2013, travelers planning to visit European countries before March 31, 2024, should seize the opportunity to purchase tickets before the end of December this year with an overall 80% discount.
