The New Taipei City Gold Museum has planned a “Bond with Jinguashi Shrine – Family Blessings” event from February 11 (the second day of the Lunar New Year) to February 14 (the fifth day of the Lunar New Year), featuring Lunar New Year-themed activities such as the “Jinguashi Shrine Photo Exhibition,” a “Lucky Lantern Quiz with Prizes,” and “New Year DIY crafts.” Meanwhile, the Shōhei Theater in Jiufen will also present the well-received talk show “Movie Talk” and the musical comedy “Dream Gold City.” Additionally, cherry blossoms along the museum’s Sakura Trail have begun to bloom, offering visitors a chance to enjoy their vibrant colors during the Lunar New Year holiday.

The New Taipei City Gold Museum, designated as a municipal historic site in March 2007, will feature a photo exhibition on the Jinguashi Shrine during the Lunar New Year holiday. Based on the exhibit descriptions and images, a fun “Quiz with Prizes” game will be available, where participants who answer correctly can receive a limited-edition small red lantern. The DIY area will offer festive crafts such as “Lucky Socks Snake,” “Blessing Shimenawa Ropes,” and “Lucky Coin Banks.” At the Shōhei Theater in Jiufen, the museum has arranged the “Movie Talk” talk show on February 11, and the “Dream Gold City” musical comedy show as an added Lunar New Year attraction on February 12–13, with performances starting at 2:30 p.m. each day.
Additionally, the cherry blossom season on the Sakura Trail of the Gold Museum typically falls during the Lunar New Year period. Currently, a few wild mountain cherry trees in Jinguashi have begun to bloom with deep red flowers, and more mountain cherries and Yoshino cherries are expected to gradually come into full bloom during the holiday.
