The captivating “Yingge Ceramics” showcase a range of appealing aesthetics: soft pink rouge red, vivid blue-and-white designs, exquisitely floral crystalline glazes, opulent gold and silver inlays symbolizing wealth and luck, and smooth, clear celadon. From now until June 27, the first-floor lobby of the New Taipei City Government will host the “Yingge Ceramics Special Exhibition,” featuring 14 carefully selected pieces from past competitions and two pairs of early Imari vases that represent the golden age of Yingge’s ceramic industry. Even those visiting for official business can admire these handpicked creations.

Meanwhile, the “2013 Yingge Ceramics Brand Project – Specialty Tableware Evaluation” has officially launched. This year focuses on themes such as rouge red, blue-and-white, crystalline glaze, gold and silver inlay, and celadon, aiming for ceramic artists to craft tableware that is both practical and unique, bringing Yingge Ceramics into everyday life so they are always close at hand.
The Yingge Ceramics Museum also plans to have award-winning artists demonstrate their creative processes during the “Museum Community Day,” sharing insights along the way. A special exhibition area will also be set up to sell past award-winning pieces, allowing visitors not only to appreciate the artistry but also to take home their favorite works as collectibles.
