To honor this special day for moms, the Kaohsiung City Government Tourism Bureau is launching a Mother’s Day promotion from May 10th to 12th. Moms can ride the gondola on the Love River for free, while E-Da World, Ambassador Hotel Kaohsiung, and Fleur de Chine Kaohsiung are offering accommodation and dining deals. Among them, E-Da Tian Yue Hotel’s buffet restaurant offers free entry for moms when four or more people dine together. Fleur de Chine Kaohsiung Golden Hotel will also host a Mother’s Day concert, allowing budget-conscious moms to enjoy the port city while saving money.

The Kaohsiung City Government Tourism Bureau is offering a Mother’s Day promotion from May 10th to 12th. The original gondola ticket package, which includes coffee, is 250 NTD per person. During the event, when children bring their moms for a two-person ride, they can enjoy the gondola ride, coffee, live folk music performances, and receive a commemorative mug for mom—all for just 250 NTD. Only 108 sets are available, and reservations can be made by phone daily from 16:00 to 20:00 starting now.
E-Da World is offering special deals on May 11th and 12th. At Tian Yue Hotel’s buffet restaurant, when four or more people dine together, moms in the group eat for free, and each mom also receives a carnation. Tian Yue Café is offering a Mother’s Day set meal at 1,000 NTD + 10%. When three or more people dine together, moms in the group get a 50% discount on the set meal. E-Da Crowne Plaza is launching the “Mommy’s Awesome” stay package, with a special rate of 7,688 NTD + 10% for double occupancy from May 3rd to 12th. The package includes one night in a scenic suite, breakfast for two the next day, two tickets to E-Da Theme Park, two exchange vouchers for E-Da Rhino’s home games, and a Mother’s Day “Youthful Embrace” cake. Additionally, E-Da World Shopping Mall is offering, from now until May 12th, a complimentary Russian Acrobatic Dinner Show ticket for every 3,000 NTD spent at counters labeled “I Love Mommy.”
Ambassador Hotel Kaohsiung’s Cantonese and Sichuan cuisine restaurants are not only offering Mother’s Day set meals, but also providing an 85% discount on meals and a free spring roll platter for moms when dining with their children in matching mother-child outfits from now until May 10th. Fleur de Chine Kaohsiung is offering a 6-person table menu for 5,280 NTD and a 10-person table menu for 8,800 NTD on May 12th, including unlimited juice. Fleur de Chine Kaohsiung Golden Hotel will host a “Mother’s Day Warmth Concert” on May 11th from 19:30 to 21:00 and May 12th from 13:30 to 15:00, featuring performances by Weng Liyou and Huang Siting to celebrate the festive day with moms.
