The Taipei 101 Observatory has opened its doors to couples for wedding photography for the first time, and it has quickly attracted 13 top wedding photographers from the Greater Taipei area to compete with their best shots. They all know that the observatory is not an easy place to shoot, especially at an internationally renowned tourist attraction bustling with people. Capturing romantic wedding photos here requires extra care. The wedding photos on display differ from the typical outdoor shoots taken near the LOVE sculpture outside Taipei 101, riverside parks, 44 South Village, or the Xinyi Planning District. With their unique photographic vision, the photographers have skillfully integrated the couples, the “Love You for a Lifetime” theme of 2013, and the unique characteristics of the observatory into 13 distinctively styled wedding photo collections. In addition, the observatory also features displays of traditional Taiwanese, Hakka, and indigenous wedding decorations, allowing visitors to experience the diversity of Taiwanese wedding customs.

This not only allows the observatory to arrange a private elevator for the couple, saving valuable shooting time, but also grants early access starting at 8:00 AM to enjoy a spacious, crowd-free shooting environment. After the observatory officially opens at 9:00 AM, couples can also capture the romantic atmosphere of a bustling crowd and the feeling of “searching for that special someone in a sea of people.” The Taipei 101 Observatory, which is now open for wedding photography, does not charge a venue fee—only an entry ticket is required, and reservations are mandatory, with a maximum of five people per booking.
