Situated at the MRT interchange of Zhongshan Elementary School Station and Yuanshan Station, the Qingshui/Yuanshan Business District boasts many historical landmarks along with a wealth of traditional eats, unique restaurants, and quaint artisan shops. To celebrate Qixi Valentine’s Day, Taipei City’s Department of Commerce has joined forces with the Qingshui and Yuanshan business districts to jointly host the “Loving Qingshui & Yuanshan – Sweet Memories: Qingshui/Yuanshan Business District Qixi Romance Series.” From now until August 26, visitors who bring the Qingshui/Yuanshan Business District guidebook to participating stores to collect points will have the chance to win major prizes including a five-day trip for two to Japan’s Kansai region, a double steak meal voucher from Wang Steak, and a Qingshui & Yuanshan Date Voucher worth NT$1,000.

To help couples create unforgettable memories this Qixi, from August 8–13, participating businesses in the district are offering special Qixi Valentine’s promotions to celebrate the rare reunion of the Cowherd and Weaver Girl. In addition to point collection using the guidebook, 31 stores are rolling out exclusive Qixi deals, including discounts of up to 20% off on clothing and drinks, free lover’s gifts with purchases, and limited-time special offers. Moreover, on August 10 from 14:00–18:00, the Qingshui/Yuanshan Business District will not only feature stage performances, but will also invite seven couples who sign up on-site to join the “Qingshui-Yuanshan Summer Love – Romantic Love Journey” for free. Participating couples will ride the Qingshui-Yuanshan Love Bus to eat, drink, play, and explore the district, and take on a “Love Challenge: Don’t Get Stuck in Romance” game to test their compatibility. Winning couples will instantly receive a special prize — the exclusive Qingshui & Yuanshan Date Voucher.
On August 10, the “Loving Qingshui & Yuanshan – Captured Moments” Qixi Photography Contest entries and award-winning works from the Qingshui/Yuanshan Business District will be exhibited in the Yuanshan Business District’s linear park, an area rich in artistic ambience. Additionally, a free photo booth for couples will be set up on-site, allowing visitors to capture sweet memories in the district.
Furthermore, the event site will offer limited tastings of the district’s top five date-friendly dishes, giving you a taste of Qixi flavors in the business district.
