From now until September 20, people of all ages and backgrounds with endless imagination, wild creativity, and a passion for vehicles can take part in the online DIY competition to design and build their very own unique, stylish dream racing car. The “Red Bull Soapbox Race – Best Online DIY Soapbox Car Design Competition” is the ultimate stage to show off humor, creativity, and enthusiasm. Once your masterpiece is complete, rally your friends to cheer you on, vote, and rate your design. The top ten designers with the highest votes will receive exclusive gifts, and among the top five, one lucky designer will win a brand-new Apple iPad. The winners will be announced on September 23 by the organizers.
This globally popular Red Bull Soapbox creative competition has been held in over 30 countries across Europe, America, and Asia. It’s a wacky, imaginative DIY racing contest where gravity-powered, engine-free cars race down slopes. Since the first-ever Soapbox Race was held in Brussels, Belgium in 2000, Red Bull has organized 80 Soapbox Races around the world, each attracting tens of thousands of cheering fans.
