The charm of the Yellow Duck has swept across domestic and international audiences, with cumulative visitor numbers exceeding 700,000 in just one week since its exhibition began on September 19. To effectively alleviate traffic around Glory Pier, additional measures will be implemented at Exit 1 of the MRT Central Park Station on September 28 and 29, including increasing the frequency of free shuttle buses to one every 5 minutes, extending service hours until 23:00, and designating the inner lanes of both directions on Youth Second Road (between China Fourth Road and Seaside Road) as exclusive public transport lanes.

To facilitate both domestic and international visitors, the Kaohsiung City Government will prioritize increasing the frequency of free shuttle buses at Exit 1 of the MRT Central Park Station on September 28 and 29. Service will begin at 10:30 AM from Central Park Station, with the last departure at 11:00 PM from Glory Pier, running every 5 minutes. The inner lanes of both directions on Youth Second Road (from China Fourth Road to Seaside Road) will be regulated as “public transport-only lanes” during this period, accessible only to buses, shuttle buses, taxis, coaches, and emergency vehicles. Additionally, left turns will be prohibited for passenger cars at intersections along China Road, Wenwu Street, Ziqiang Road, Chenggong Road, Yongming Street, Yongping Road, and Seaside Road. Chen Chin-fu stated that if the implementation of the public transport-only lanes proves effective, they are expected to be enforced during weekends and holidays throughout the remainder of the Yellow Duck event, and the public is advised to plan their routes accordingly.
Due to limited parking availability near Glory Pier, visitors are encouraged to park at seven major MRT transfer parking lots: R4 Kaohsiung International Airport Station, R13 Aozihdi Station, R16 Zuoying Station, R21 Metropolitan Park Station, R24 Nangangshan Station, O4 City Council Station (former site), and OT1 Daliao Station, then transfer to shuttles bound for Glory Pier. For city buses, options include Red 18 to Glory Pier Station, or taking Bus 0 South, 0 North, 11, 25, 33, Wufu Trunk Line (50), Circular 168, 76, 77, or 214 to Kaohsiung Girls' High School Station, followed by a roughly 5-minute walk to Glory Pier. Additionally, for motorcycle parking, besides the existing southbound roadside space on Seaside Road (between Youth Road and Ling’an Road), temporary motorcycle parking spaces will be added along both sides of Sanduo Fifth Road (from Ling’an Road to Yongtai Road).
Flexible traffic control measures will be enforced on roads surrounding Glory Pier from 4:00 PM to midnight on weekdays, and from 10:00 AM to midnight on weekends. The controlled area spans east to Chenggong First Road (excluding), west to Seaside Road (including), south to Youth Second Road (excluding), and north to Wufu Third Road (excluding). Within the controlled zone, all vehicles except buses, shuttle buses, and accessible taxis are prohibited, with adjustments made based on real-time traffic conditions.
