Taiwanese eating habits are gradually becoming more Japanized and Westernized. In addition to being influenced by Japanese styles, restaurants, cafés, and home furnishings have also seen a growing demand among Taiwanese consumers for décor and home accessories, thanks to the rising popularity of Scandinavian minimalism; and the composite dining concepts launched by brands are not only a current trend, but their interior styles also incorporate simple and warm elements. Diners can enjoy delicious food in a cozy yet adult-oriented design, which enhances both sensory and taste satisfaction.

Under the distribution of Uni-President Afternoon Tea Scenery, Afternoon Tea celebrates its fifth anniversary. For its reopening, it adopts a South of France theme to create a new-generation store. Within nearly 100 ping of space, creative combinations of unconventional materials can be found everywhere, crafted from raw wood, iron, leather, mosaic, and other mixed materials. In addition to using gilding techniques to combine raw wood and iron, lighting elements are cleverly utilized. From the mode of illumination, color temperature, to the coordination with furniture such as sofas, dining tables, and wooden chairs, European style is infused into a balanced design of modernity and contemporary flair. The aisle pathways have also been widened, and display shelf heights lowered, offering a broader and more comfortable feel compared to previous layouts.

In recent years, Japan’s economic recovery has led to an increase in various types of brand complex stores, and the market has faced a reshuffle. Seizing this opportunity, Afternoon Tea Japan has reconsidered the brand’s next steps. Over the past two years, it has gradually increased the proportion of European-style designed goods, adjusted store styles... and so on, while also returning to the style of its original founding store in Japan. By using retro European-style items, it recreates a more European interior style. At the same time, it hopes to use the concept of the "home" theme to build a new-generation store, reawakening the original idea of introducing European-style miscellaneous goods, and once again injecting new lifestyle concepts for Afternoon Tea fans in Japan and Taiwan.

The entire second-generation store also clearly conveys a "homey" atmosphere.
