And with convenience stores now offering freshly brewed coffee, many traditional flavors are gradually disappearing from the city. 1.Celebrity Cafe
Located in Ximending for over 60 years, Celebrity Cafe was reopened by a fallen Russian nobleman and a graduate of Taipei Municipal Jianguo High School, reviving the original cafe that was once located in the Shanghai concession.

The cafe offers Russian-style coffee and desserts, especially the Russian soft candy—soft and fluffy on the outside, with a crispy walnut center inside—which was once the afternoon tea of the Russian imperial family.

2.Nanmei Coffee
Nanmei Coffee is a popular old-school cafe. It opens at 8 AM, where you can enjoy a ham and egg sandwich with an Americano, and during the afternoon tea period, they even serve a few cookies as snacks.

The coffee here is all hand-roasted, sourced directly from origin, and this cafe was the first in Taiwan to roast its own beans, marking a key moment in the island’s coffee culture history.
