Taipei / Tong — All-you-can-eat crab and live shrimp stone pot hot pot with bold flavors
This month’s newly opened “Tong,” located near Zhongshan Girls’ High School, features all-you-can-eat autumn crab and live shrimp as its main attraction. The restaurant’s seafood ingredients are delivered daily from fishing ports such as Keelung, including fresh oysters, clams, squid, fresh fish, Matsusaka pork, beef short ribs, lamb, handmade dumplings, and Tsingtao beer—all available for unlimited enjoyment.

The interior is designed in a Japanese style, with a spacious and bright space offering diners a comfortable dining environment. When the pot is served, the staff heat the pan with sesame oil, sauté onions and minced garlic, then stir-fry Matsusaka pork or beef short ribs before pouring in the broth. This is paired with daily fresh crabs, live shrimp, and a variety of seafood, along with dozens of hot pot ingredients, fresh vegetables, and mushrooms—presenting a rich and delicious refined stone pot hot pot.
