Having just bid farewell to Glory Pier, the Yellow Rubber Duck will make its appearance this Saturday (the 26th) at the Taoyuan Land Art Festival. During the event, visitors can enjoy Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman’s “Yellow Rubber Duck,” Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama’s “The Footprints of Life,” as well as Korean artist Choi Jeonghwa’s “Lotus Series.” Additionally, near the Yellow Rubber Duck exhibition area, there will be a “Duck Grazing Zone” where you can see 200 lively yellow ducklings roaming freely. Moreover, Taoyuan Post has set up a “Yellow Duck Temporary Post Office” during the event, featuring a duck-themed mailbox and offering services to send postcards with the Yellow Duck design.

The Yellow Duck Temporary Post Office will offer specially designed envelopes—“Post Office Gift Envelopes”—and postmarks for the Land Art Festival. The postmarks come in three designs and will be available in limited quantities on three specific days: October 26, November 2, and November 9. The event site will also feature a philatelic exhibition, postage stamps, commemorative postcards, and stamp booklets. Since temporary post offices are established on an ad hoc basis, the unique “special postmarks” used by them have become sought-after collector's items among philatelists. Those wishing to collect the special Yellow Duck postmark should act quickly.
Additionally, on October 26, 27, and November 2, 3, 9, and 10, visitors who collect five stamps from the Taoyuan Land Art Festival promotional brochure can exchange them for a small gift at the Yellow Duck Temporary Post Office, with a daily limit of 300 gifts. With the “Clip & Win” message from the Land Art Festival event, you can exchange for a Yellow Duck calendar card at the service desk, limited to 1,000 cards. The event site will also offer on-site customized stamp-making services—just take a selfie with the Yellow Duck using your phone, and you can create and pick up an adorable personalized stamp via LINE on the spot.

For those planning to visit the Taoyuan Land Art Festival, it is recommended to use public transportation. During the event, four free shuttle bus routes have been arranged: the “Blue Line” starting from Taoyuan HSR Station, the “Red Line” departing from the underpass parking lot of Provincial Highway 31, the “Yellow Line” starting from Xinyi Pond (Dots Area), and the “Green Line” traveling from Yong’an Fishing Port along County Road 114 to Houhu Pond (Yellow Duck Area). For existing bus routes, you can take bus 5035 (Zhongli–Xinyi), 5027 (Zhongli–Houhu), 5030 (Zhongli–Xiabei Lake), 5031 (Zhongli–Fuxing Temple), or 5039 (Zhongli–Yong’an Guanyin) from Zhongli Railway Station, getting off at the Dots Area (Xinyi Terminal) for a fare of NT$45, the Yellow Duck Area (Quanmei Company Stop) for NT$45, or the Lotus Area (Beishi Stop) for NT$36.
