The yellow duck, which left Kaohsiung last Sunday and floated to Taoyuan, was fully inflated this morning and will make its appearance at the Taoyuan County Xinyi Township Land Art Festival from October 26 to November 10. In addition, the Taoyuan Square Arts Festival will also be held during the same period and in the same area, featuring 17 domestic and international performing arts groups presenting a total of 40 performances. Through visual art installations, live shows, touring performances, workshops, and creative markets, it will create an arts event that blends local and international culture.

The much-anticipated yellow duck has been inflated and is ready for the Taoyuan Land Art Festival, which will take place from October 26 to November 10 in Xinyi Township, Taoyuan. Visitors can look forward to seeing the adorable duck playing in the pond. During the same period, the Taoyuan Square Arts Festival has planned large-scale outdoor performances, art workshops, and township tours. This year’s outdoor performance lineup includes 17 groups from Taiwan, Belgium, France, and more. Among them, Belgium’s Theatre Tol, which was invited to perform at the 2012 London Olympics, will present "Circle of Paradise," a show performed entirely in the air.

The art workshops will feature three sessions by France’s Carton Père et Fils, Lumière Magique Theatre, and Taiwan’s Mudflat Surfing Band, offering a “Clown Workshop,” “Mask Workshop,” and “DIY Musical Instrument Workshop.” Additionally, there will be three township tour performances on October 29–30 and November 1 in Dayuan Township, Guanyin Township, and Yangmei City. The Duck Creative Market will also be set up around the duck exhibition area during the festival. Visitors can stroll around, enjoy coffee, savor local farm-fresh food and Hakka desserts, and on weekends, even try special bento boxes handpicked by a state banquet chef featuring local specialties.
