As 2013 gradually comes to an end, Yida World presents its year-end grand rewards, starting with the crazy anniversary celebration at Yida World Outlet Mall. On December 31st, the much-anticipated 《2014 Purple Shine Yida New Year’s Eve Countdown Gala》 takes center stage as the finale, featuring an all-star lineup that includes the beloved “Electro Queen” Jolin Tsai, and this year also specially invites the big-name “Dance Queen” Elva Hsiao to be the countdown guest. The event will also showcase a spectacular fireworks show. Yida World Outlet Mall will extend its operating hours until 23:00 that night, while food and beverage stalls will remain open until 1:30 AM on January 1, 2014, as everyone counts down together to welcome 2014.

The annual southern Taiwan New Year’s Eve highlight, the 《2014 Purple Shine Yida New Year’s Eve Countdown Gala》, will once again be co-hosted by Hu Gua and Golden Bell Award-winning actress Ruby Lin. The “Electro Queen” Jolin Tsai and the “Dance Queen” Elva Hsiao will electrify southern Taiwan with their high-energy performances. In conjunction with the New Year’s Eve event, Yida World Outlet Mall is launching its grand anniversary sale. From December 6th to January 12th, 2014, shoppers who spend over NT$5,000 in a single day will have a chance to win a presidential suite; groups of budget-conscious women spending over NT$1 million can even share a stay in an extra-large presidential suite. To celebrate the New Year’s Eve, the shopping mall will extend its operating hours on December 31st — the entire mall will be open from 11:00 to 23:00, food and beverage outlets until 1:30 AM on January 1, 2014, and E-Da Regal Cinema until 3:00 AM on January 1, 2014.
From now until December 31st, residents of Tainan, Kaohsiung, and Pingtung counties/cities can purchase Yida Amusement World tickets at a 30% discount by presenting proof of residency, bringing the price down to just NT$630 (original price: NT$899). To welcome 2014 and capitalize on the popularity of the New Year’s Eve fireworks, the highly anticipated Yida Ferris Wheel New Year’s Eve cabin packages are now on hot sale. Since going on sale, they have been met with an overwhelming response, with only the last New Year’s Eve cabin package remaining. Priced at a dazzling NT$3,999, the cabin accommodates up to 8 people and includes NT$400 worth of food and beverage vouchers. Guests can enjoy a New Year’s Eve meal in the cabin atop Taiwan’s highest ferris wheel, plus receive a NT$1,720 merchandise gift bag. The gift bag also includes a random bonus of 10 amusement park starlight tickets.
