Following last year’s 2013 “After a Lifetime with You,” the first Valentine’s Day of 2014 symbolizes “Love You for a Lifetime.” In addition to planning a series of Valentine’s activities, Taipei Main Station Fashion Plaza also specially supports charity by generously giving out vouchers and hot spring coupons, calling on passionate men and women to join blood donation efforts. In addition, there’s the Love Okinawa Tourism & Product Fair and the Okinawa Tourism Music Festival. On February 14–15, the event also invites the renowned singer known as Japan’s Soul Diva—Rimi Natsukawa—for a live performance.

From now until February 16, Taipei Main Station is specially hosting the Love Okinawa Tourism & Product Fair in front of the JASONS Supermarket on B3F, gathering popular Okinawan brand goods and distinctive local snacks. These include Pleasefu Plum Wine 12% (recommended price NT$1,200), YUNNA Black Sugar from Ishigaki Island (recommended price NT$270), Ishigaki Island Salt (recommended price NT$300), and Ryukyu Dynasty—Okinawa Turmeric Tablets (recommended price NT$1,200), making classic Okinawan products easily accessible. During the event period, present your Q Card and accumulate a total of NT$500 in spending at the Okinawa Product Fair area on the day to exchange for one raffle ticket; spend NT$1,000 to exchange for two (and so on), with chances to win grand prizes such as round-trip flights between Taipei and Okinawa, a 3-day, 2-night Ishigaki Island cruise holiday with Star Cruises, and a variety of other attractive gifts. To coincide with Valentine’s Day, an additional Okinawa Second Exhibition Area will be set up in front of the 1F Service Counter from February 14–16. The Okinawa Tourism Music Festival will also be held on-site, featuring performances by Rimi Natsukawa, the singer from Ishigaki Island known as Japan’s “Soul Diva,” live at Taipei Main Station on February 14–15. On February 16, the Ishigaki High School group Yaeyama High School Students and Okinawan folk singer Kenyu Tseng will perform classical Okinawan performing arts dances and folk songs.

From now until February 14, Taipei Main Station will feature a Love Tree in the central plaza fountain on 1F, symbolizing a bond of happiness. On-site, love cards will be available for couples to write their love declarations and tie them together on the Love Tree, symbolizing lovers tightly bound for a lifetime. During the event, take a photo with your loved one under the “Love Tree” in the central plaza fountain at Taipei Main Station 1F and upload it to the designated event page on Taipei Main Station’s Facebook fan page to instantly receive a scratch card on your mobile phone, with a chance to win one of a hundred great prizes including a romantic Valentine’s meal at the themed restaurant MISO and a large Craftholic pillow.

Additionally, Taipei Main Station invites passionate individuals to support blood donation. On February 21 from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM at the Civic Boulevard entrance side of Taipei Transfer Station, those who complete blood donation that day will receive a NT$100 voucher from Taipei Main Station Fashion Plaza, a hot spring discount coupon from Nikko Kaga-ya International Hot Spring Hotel, a one-day vitality sports voucher from BEING Sport Uni Fitness Club, and a small souvenir.
