Aoraki / Mount Cook
Rising 3,754 meters, Aoraki / Mount Cook is the highest peak in New Zealand. Its Māori name, Aoraki, means “Cloud Piercer.” Within Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park, there are over 20 peaks exceeding 3,000 meters in elevation, standing tall and covered in snow.
