Yesterday (16th) was the third day of the public art exhibition "1600 Pandas World Tour—Taipei" at the Arts Plaza of the National Theater & Concert Hall. A large crowd turned out to catch a glimpse of the cute 1,600 paper pandas and 200 paper Formosan black bears. The organizing unit, Taipei...]??? The organizer stated that as of the time of the event, 235,500 people had visited to enjoy the display.

The day’s exhibition added a touch of fun and creativity. Keen-eyed visitors couldn’t miss the spirited “Black Bear Team,” strong and valiant, and the nimble, tactical “Round Baby Team” as they faced off in an epic black-and-white showdown. Particularly eye-catching were the adorable paper pandas wielding baseball bats and wearing baseball caps, the valiant stance of the paper Formosan black bears, and the paper polar bear serving as the head judge—visitors couldn’t help but exclaim how cute it all was.

Taipei]?? also personally visited the site at 4:30 PM that day to cheer on both teams alongside the public, even rolling up their sleeves to act as sports commentators, broadcasting the match to the crowd. This made the “Round Baby vs. Brown Sugar Baseball Friendship Match” the highlight of the event.

The Tourism and Travel Bureau encourages everyone to take public transportation to the exhibition venue to save energy and reduce carbon emissions for the planet. Additionally, visitors are welcome to come during weekdays or in the evening to avoid the crowds and enjoy a more leisurely experience.
