Renowned for his pressed flower art, master Norio Sugino is a leading figure in Japan’s pressed flower creation scene, actively engaged in research, creation, and promotion across a broad spectrum. In 1991, he established the “Institute for Flowers and Greenery,” dedicated to the research, development, creation, and promotion of the natural beauty of plants. Sugino refers to his unique flower-and-green art as “botanical art” and has even created a new style of pressed flower artwork themed around his original “Healing Series,” incorporating photography.
