Ghibli Museum, Mitaka
This is not just a place that collects and displays the works of Studio Ghibli. It encourages visitors to personally touch and interact with scenes that only appear in animation. Fujiko F. Fujio Museum, Kawasaki City
The Fujiko F. Fujio Museum in Kawasaki City, which opened on September 3, 2011, became a popular topic in Tokyo, driving Doraemon fans wild. Fujiko F. Fujio moved to Tama District, Kawasaki City, 50 years ago and continued creating without interruption until his passing in 1996, bringing joyful manga to his supporters. Besides the popular Doraemon, other characters like Obake no Q-taro and Perman have also brought dreams, hope, and courage to many readers.
Yokohama Anpanman Museum
The superhero in children’s hearts, “Anpanman,” not only fights evil but now also comes to Yokohama to have fun with kids. The Yokohama Anpanman Museum is divided into three levels. The first floor has a shop as well as an Anpanman theater where children can sit and watch exclusive cartoon films shown only in the museum—screened four times a day—and even get up close with Anpanman himself.

Gundam Tokyo Frontier

A science museum planned by Sony aims to overturn the common fear of “science.” The museum uses various interactive facilities to help visitors discover unique scientific phenomena and personally experience the wonder and magic of science through games.
MEGA WEB
The MEGA WEB Toyota City Showcase, reopened after renovation in 2004, displays Toyota vehicles from the past to the future. You can actually drive new compact cars and circle a track suspended in mid-air. For those seeking something more thrilling, try the virtual reality racing experience.
