The building that houses The Peninsula Paris was originally a classic French-style hotel from the late 19th century, opened in 1908 as one of the most representative grand hotels in Paris at the time. For 30 years, it hosted countless wealthy elites, celebrities, nobility, industrial magnates, as well as figures from the arts, literature, and music, bearing witness to Paris’s “Belle Époque,” a peak period of cultural and artistic creativity and the splendor of French elegance before World War I.

Today, the interior has been exquisitely renovated to preserve the building’s historical essence and original aesthetic value, including the original layout of guest rooms and public spaces, as well as décor elements that had long disappeared or were severely damaged. After detailed research, the décor from 1908 has been faithfully restored; marble, plaster walls, mosaics, ceilings and wall tiles, wood carvings, stone carvings, gold leaf, paint, and other decorative details have all been perfectly preserved. Enhanced with contemporary art installations and refined furnishings, along with state-of-the-art technological facilities, the rooftop space and private suite balcony gardens offer unobstructed 360-degree views. Together with the hotel’s grand opulence, it transforms into a magnificent gateway to the 21st century.

The hotel features 200 guest rooms, including 34 luxurious suites, five of which are connected to private rooftop gardens, offering stunning views of Paris’s urban beauty. Room rates range from approximately €1,095 to €3,800, while suites are priced between €7,000 and €25,000. The guest rooms’ soft gray and beige tones complement glossy lacquered décor elements, blending Parisian artistic flair with The Peninsula’s pioneering practical design concept. Carefully selected artisanal furnishings, elegant furniture, atmospheric lighting, luxurious marble bathrooms, and exclusive Peninsula room technology establish a new benchmark for a human-centered hospitality experience.
