Logos Hope, the world’s largest floating book fair, is set to visit Taiwan for the first time.Many still remember the MV Doulos, Logos Hope’s sister ship. When the Doulos last visited in 2009, over 103,000 visitors came to Kaohsiung Port. This September, Logos Hope will sail to Taiwan, making its first stop at Keelung Port, then heading to Kaohsiung, and finally concluding its journey at Anping Port. The ship was originally expected to visit Taiwan last year, but the trip was canceled due to technical maintenance issues. Now, the international crew of Logos Hope is truly excited and looking forward to visiting Taiwan.

The book exhibition section of Logos Hope offers over 5,000 affordable titles, covering a wide range of topics including Christian books, science, sports, cooking, art, dictionaries, languages, philosophy, and family life. There is also a special children’s book section featuring fairy tales, textbooks, dictionaries, and maps. In addition to the book fair, visitors can explore other areas of the ship’s visitor experience floor. In the Welcome Area, visitors can learn more about Logos Hope through short films and cabin simulations. The Life Journey Exhibition features artistic panels that allow visitors to reflect on life choices. The International Café not only serves a variety of snacks, ice cream, and drinks, but also offers visitors the chance to casually interact with crew members from around the world.

Logos Hope is operated by the German non-profit charity organization GBA Ships e.V. (Good Books for All), which brings knowledge, help, and hope to people around the world through its floating book fairs, service teams, life-sharing activities, and cross-cultural exchanges. Over the past 40 years, ships under the GBA Ships e.V. banner have visited more than 150 countries and welcomed over 43 million visitors aboard.
