In response to the rising popularity of Korean BBQ, Yoshoku, under the Din Tai Fung Group, has given its spring and summer menu a complete overhaul this year. The highlight is the introduction of Spanish Iberian pork, American Angus Black Angus beef, and Australian Wagyu — dubbed the “trio of grilling excellence.” Available as a couple’s set meal in multiple price ranges from 1,580 to 2,180 NTD (plus 10% service charge), the new offerings include eight courses from Caesar salad, a trio of appetizers, the main course, all the way to drinks and dessert. The new menu launches on June 6.
In addition to offering 3–4 types of meat combo platters for the couple’s set, each set comes with a special “marinated pot dish.” Yoshoku’s chefs traveled to Japanese BBQ restaurants for research and developed a marinade that infuses beef, chicken leg cherry duck, and seasonal vegetables with a chef-created sauce before grilling. This process gives the ingredients a unique flavor after cooking.
The Spanish Iberian black pork couple’s set lets diners enjoy beautifully marbled pork collar and dice-cut pork, priced at 1,580 NTD (plus 10% service charge) — premium pork that’s still accessible for budget-conscious diners. The beef short rib comes from American Angus Black Angus beef, one of the best cuts for grilling. Priced at 1,880 NTD (plus 10% service charge), the set includes a rare Prime boneless short rib (making up just 1% of all U.S. beef), as well as marbled boneless short ribs, oyster blade steak, plus a pork combo and scallops. For 2,180 NTD (plus 10% service charge), the generously portioned Australian Black Wagyu couple’s set features “the black diamonds of the beef world,” raised in Australia’s pristine land but originating from Japan. Dishes include Wagyu boneless short ribs, snowflake oyster blade, and pork collar.
