National Day holiday: Book your extra Taiwan Railways tickets now!

The Double Ten holiday is approaching. To alleviate the travel rush during this three-day break and meet passenger demand, Taiwan Railways will operate a total of 180 extra train services across all lines over the five-day period from Thursday, October 9, 2014, to Monday, October 13, 2014. This includes 65 Tze-Chiang Limited Express, 22 Chu-Kuang Express, and 6 Local trains (93 services) on the Eastern Line; 34 Tze-Chiang Limited Express, 25 Chu-Kuang Express, and 6 Local trains (65 services) on the Western Line; and 16 Chu-Kuang Express and 6 Fu-Hsing Semi-Express trains (22 services) on the South-Link Line.

Online, convenience store, and telephone voice booking will open at midnight on Thursday, September 25, 2014, with tickets available for reservation up to October 13, 2014.
