Spring has arrived—besides cherry blossoms, don’t miss the fiery red kapok blooms！ March is the peak season for kapok flowers, with tree-lined paths across Taiwan bursting into bloom. Among the popular spots to admire these crimson canopies are Tainan’s Lin Chuh-Pi Kapok Path and Zhutang Kapok Path. To avoid the crowds and peacefully soak in the stunning beauty of kapok blossoms, check out these three lesser-known kapok tree-lined path hidden gems introduced below, and quietly enjoy the delightful scenery.

General’s Kapok Path
Tainan’s Baihe Lin Chuh-Pi Kapok Path, the most famous kapok-lined trail in Taiwan, attracts numerous visitors every flowering season. But the actual homeland of the kapok tree is actually in Tainan’s General’s District, which boasts a total of 2,000 kapok trees—the highest number planted in the city. Currently, seven kapok tree-lined paths are blooming sequentially, among which the section along County Road 21 (Jia-Chang Road) features the best floral display.

Huwei Kapok Path
Huwei in Yunlin has a new flower-viewing spot—the Huwei Kapok Path—located along Yun 145, between Huwei and Xiluo, a key traffic route for nearby townships. Stretching 8 kilometers in total, this kapok path is lined with over 900 kapok trees. The floral display is currently excellent, presenting a breathtaking sea of flaming red. It's a spectacular and photogenic sight！ However, as this is a busy road, visitors are reminded to stay safe while admiring and photographing the blooms.
