The passing of fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld has left us in mourning, but the classic designs he created will live on forever. SJM Macau gaming group announced that they will continue to complete his personally designed masterpiece, THE KARL LAGERFELD.

SJM Macau gaming group announced that they will soon build a new integrated resort, “Grand Lisboa Palace,” in Macau’s Cotai area. Among the three hotels within the resort, besides the Karl Lagerfeld-designed KARL LAGERFELD Hotel, there will also be the Grand Lisboa Palace Hotel and the Palazzo Versace Macau.

Grand Lisboa Palace Hotel is themed around the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures, incorporating iconic architectural elements from various European styles while highlighting the ethnic charm of traditional Chinese culture. Its luxurious décor and custom furniture and ornaments are truly captivating.

In the design sketch of the MACAU KARL LAGERFELD HOTEL, we can see many details reflecting Karl Lagerfeld’s personal touch. The entire Grand Lisboa integrated resort covers an area of 70,468 square meters, with a total floor area of 521,435 square meters, of which 95% is dedicated to tourism and leisure facilities. The three hotels together will offer 2,000 rooms and are expected to be completed in 2019, bringing a fresh new look to Macau’s tourism industry.
