The Directorate-General of Personnel Administration has released the calendar for the year 104 (2015), which includes 115 days off, comprising six consecutive holiday periods: the Lunar New Year’s Eve and Spring Festival, Peace Memorial Day, Children’s Day and Tomb Sweeping Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day.

The Executive Yuan has finalized a policy whereby national holidays falling on Tuesdays or Thursdays will be adjusted to create four-day weekends, with a make-up work or school day on the preceding Saturday. Based on this system, the 2015 New Year holiday will form a four-day break, with December 27, 2014 (Saturday) designated as a make-up workday.

● The Lunar New Year holiday runs from February 18 to February 23 (Wednesday to Monday, totaling six days off)
● Peace Memorial Day (228) holiday: February 27 to March 1 (falls on a Saturday, with Friday as a make-up holiday, totaling three days off)
● Children’s Day and Tomb Sweeping Day: April 3 to April 6 (Friday to Monday, with Friday and Monday as make-up holidays due to weekend overlap, totaling four days off)
● Dragon Boat Festival: June 19 to June 21 (falls on a Saturday, with Friday as a make-up holiday, totaling three days off)
