Autumn is really here！On October 22, some red maple leaves were spotted beginning to turn at Songlu, the most popular maple-viewing spot at Fusshoushan Farm. The peak period for the most stunning red foliage at Songlu is expected to be early to mid-November. Everyone is welcome to come admire the autumn leaves!

At an altitude of 2,500 meters, Fusshoushan Farm’s high elevation, combined with the recent cooling autumn weather, has caused the maple and other deciduous trees on the farm to gradually change color in response. Travelers planning to admire the foliage should start planning their trips soon. Also, nighttime temperatures at Fusshoushan have already dropped to as low as 1–6°C, so be sure to dress warmly. Other well-known maple-viewing spots in central and southern Taiwan, such as Xitou, Shanlinxi, and Alishan, will enter their foliage seasons in November, varying by latitude and elevation.
