November is just around the corner, and activities are kicking off across Taiwan. New Taipei City Christmas Town
Date: November 15, 2014 – January 4, 2015
This year, the New Taipei City Christmas Town will remain open for 51 consecutive days, staying lively until January 4, 2015. It sets new records for the longest duration of Christmas displays, the densest LED lights, the longest light installations, and the tallest Christmas tree in the event’s history. For the first time, it features macaron-inspired colors using exclusive technology, breaking away from the usual red, yellow, blue, and green palette to offer the public a fresh visual experience.

2014 Caoling Historic Trail Silvergrass Season

Autumn is the season for silvergrass blooms. The graceful grasses sway in the wind, their beautiful spikes standing tall against the sky, dancing with the breeze. The entire valley seems to roll with silver waves, as pure clouds drift gracefully in the clean, refreshing air. The “Caoling Historic Trail Silvergrass Season” offers the public a chance to enjoy the rich natural ecology and cultural art of the Northeast Coast, along with an elegant leisure experience.

TAIPEI Picnic Gathering
Date: November 1, 2014
Location: Wanhua Youth Park
On November 1, the “TAIPEI Picnic Gathering” will be held at Wanhua Youth Park, inviting the public to enjoy a wonderful autumn holiday. The event will feature performances by anime bands, singer Chien Tien-na, and appearances by well-known cosplayers joining in the picnic. There will also be street performances nearby, making for a rich and diverse program. All are welcome to join in the fun. Additionally, there will be a “Best Picnicker” selection contest, with winners receiving a Nikon P340 large-aperture 1.8 mirrorless camera.
