The Tourism Bureau stated that the two Classic Teddy Bear Loves Tainan themed buses—one each on Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Routes 88 (Anping Line) and 99 (Taijiang Line)—are launched in collaboration with local business Classic Teddy to jointly promote Tainan tourism. Each themed bus is decorated according to its route’s theme, featuring designs of Tainan’s major historic sites and the greenery of the Sicao Green Tunnel. As soon as passengers board, they’re immersed in the atmosphere of Tainan’s historic city and the mangrove green tunnel. Plus, the bus handles are creatively adorned with cute Q-version sword lions, black-faced spoonbills, and fiddler crabs that sway with the movement of the bus, keeping even standing passengers entertained.

In addition, in line with the “Bear Happiness” theme, every seat cover features Classic Teddy Bear couples in love with cameras, accompanying everyone on their Tainan tour.The most eye-catching feature on both themed buses is the presence of one large and two small Classic Teddy Bears riding along.Especially the 100-centimeter-tall large Classic Teddy Bear, with its innocent and adorable dog-like eyes, keeps passengers company on the bus, often causing passengers to gasp in delight upon boarding, taking photos, and exclaiming how cute it is—many even wish to take it home!

Besides the two Classic Teddy Bear Loves Tainan themed buses, the remaining 13 Taiwan Tourist Shuttle 8899 buses are also decorated with seat covers featuring Tainan-themed designs. The QR codes on the covers link directly to the “Travel Tainan” app, allowing passengers to easily search for travel information using the bus’s 4G WiFi.
